About
Med’EqualiTeam was founded in July of 2018, as a French NGO with a Greek branch. Its first project was based on Samos: a medical clinic providing primary care for between 100 and 200 refugees, six days per week. Med’EqualiTeam is a non-profit organisation and is entirely dependent on crowdfunding, donations and support from other NGOs. The NGO was founded by a French general practitioner, who having worked in Greece for several years decided to start a clinic on Samos. Our team of around 20 medics and non-medics consisted of volunteers from countries all over the world.
